Camilla attended the New York City premiere of the new “Narnia” movie entitled “Prince Caspian”. Camilla’s been very busy attending events in New York in the last few days. Let’s hope she’ll continue making some more appearances, soon.

Camilla was still in New York, yesterday, where she attended another public event. Giorgio Armani was awarded with the FIT’s first Couture Council Award. Camilla wore a pretty white dress and looked lovely as always. You can find lots of images from the event in the gallery:

Camilla stepped out in the spotlight yesterday in New York. She attended two separate yet both fashion related events in the city. She first attended Giorgio Armani’s book signing of Roger Hutchings’ “Armani Backstage”, where she received the first personally signed copy. She then dropped by the “Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy” Costume Institute Gala. Camilla looked radiant in her light blue gown.

Brazilian designer Carlos Miele has launched a series of t-shirts designed by high profile entertainment and fashion fixtures to help save the rainforests.

The t-shirts will be sold at Miele’s stores to benefit The Rainforest Foundation, an organization founded in 1989 by rocker Sting and wife Trudie Styler that aims to preserve the rainforest and the rights of the indigenous people living there.

Miele and Vogue hosted a party Wednesday to show off and sell the shirts. One hundred percent of the night’s proceeds will go directly to the Rainforest Foundation-U.S.

Fashion and entertainment celebrities including Scarlett Johansson, Camilla Belle, Michael Roberts, Diana Picasso, and Alice Braga have created special designs on the t-shirts.

Fashionwiredaily.com quotes Miele as saying, “I’ve liked the work of the Rainforest Foundation for a long time. I think Sting was a visionary when he came to Brazil and he was really concerned about Amazonia and the rainforest. For me, it’s great to support this foundation.” [Source]
